Elizabeth Padgett, SWS
Elizabeth works in watercolor and acrylic on a paper or canvas support. Her Kimono Series is collaged from hand painted French papers torn up and constructed into the classic shape of a displayed Kimono; she also paints expressive Abstracts using vibrant colors and a high key palette, her latest work is Landscapes inspired by the terrain and cultures of Northern New Mexico.
She has been in numerous international and national exhibitions attaining her Signature Status with Southwestern Watercolor Society and has won awards, ribbons, and cash and material prizes. She has had several solo shows including at the Irving Center for the Arts and Verizon’s Corporate Headquarters.
Her work is in private and public collections and currently is available through Art Holdings (Dallas and Minneapolis), Artplace Gallery of Denison, Fine Art Events & Gallery, Plano and Mr. J’s of Richardson.
